Used solar panels · first-hand purchase
We paid $95 each for used 330W SunPower SPR-E20-330-COM panels (~$0.29/W) for our F5000LFP solar array. Here is what we bought and the condition and datasheet checks to make before choosing used panels for a power station.

$95 for a used 330W SunPower SPR-E20-330-COM is a Facebook Marketplace purchase; twelve panels put the documented module spend at $1,140. New retail modules in this class are often quoted around $0.70–1.00/W; use that as context rather than a live quote. Datasheet figures we size against (SunPower E-Series E20-330-COM datasheet): 64.9V Voc, 6.52A Isc, -0.1766 V/°C, 15A max series fuse.
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Nameplate | 330W |
| Voc | 64.9V |
| Isc | 6.52A |
| Voc temp. coeff. | -0.1766 V/°C |
| Max series fuse | 15A |

Parallel strings are only as good as their weakest panel, and used panels vary. Clamp-meter short-circuit current on each module before assigning it to a string, then group similar performers so one degraded panel drags down one string rather than all of them. That is the practice we used on the F5000LFP 12-panel array.
Ask the seller for the datasheet Voc, Isc, temperature coefficient, and max series fuse — sticker wattage alone does not size a controller. Check glass, frames, junction boxes, and MC4s in person when you can. Our evidence for these modules is the purchase record and datasheet; ask a seller for flash-test curves if measured output matters to your decision.
Series count is a cold-weather Voc problem. Parallel count is an input current problem. Three or more strings add a fuse problem. Run those checks using our worked string-sizing example.
We use these panels with the Pecron F5000LFP. See its published specifications and our array write-up to understand the pairing.
For this array, yes at $95 for 330W — about $0.29/W — against the $0.70–1.00/W range often quoted for new modules. That local purchase brought twelve module costs to $1,140. The tradeoff is mismatch and a missing warranty, so inspect condition and match modules before wiring parallel strings.

Datasheet Voc in the cold against the MPPT voltage ceiling, Isc against the current limit, and fuse rating once you run three or more parallel strings. The tables are on /tools/string-sizing/.
