Privacy policy

Last updated September 7, 2026. This policy describes how amphourlab.com (“AmpHourLab”, “we”) handles information. Amazon Associates and the eBay Partner Network require a privacy policy that covers cookies and third-party data collection.

Who operates this site

AmpHourLab is an independent publication at amphourlab.com. For privacy questions, contact the site operator through amphourlab.com and include “Privacy” in the subject line of your message.

What we collect

The site is static files hosted on Cloudflare Workers. We do not run a first-party account system, newsletter, or checkout. We do not ask you for a name, email address, or payment card on these pages.

Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers the site, may process standard request logs (such as IP address, user agent, referrer, and timestamps) to operate the network, absorb abuse, and keep the site online. See Cloudflare’s own privacy documentation for that processing.

Optional site analytics

With your permission, Google Analytics measures visits and clicks on Amazon and eBay links, including the page, retailer, product, and link placement. These clicks are not purchase confirmations. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visits. We disable advertising signals and personalization and strip query strings from the page addresses we send.

Google Analytics is not loaded until you choose “Allow analytics.” “No thanks” leaves it off. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. Your choice is stored in this browser. You can change it using “Analytics preferences” in the footer; declining stops future collection and clears this site's Google Analytics cookies. This does not erase previously collected reports.

Cookies, pixels, and affiliate partners

AmpHourLab participates in the Amazon Associates Program and the eBay Partner Network. Those are the only outbound shopping links on this site.

When you follow a shopping link, Amazon.com, eBay, and companies acting for them may set or read cookies, pixels, or similar technologies in your browser. They may collect information directly from you, recognize your browser, and attribute a later purchase so they can pay us a commission. We do not control those technologies.

Product prices and availability shown for Amazon.com come from Amazon’s Creators API. Amazon may receive a request that includes the product identifiers we asked for. We do not send Amazon a profile of you from this site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Doing so may prevent Amazon or eBay from attributing a purchase to this site; it does not change the price you pay.

How we use information

We use hosting logs only to operate, secure, and debug the site. We use affiliate attribution (handled by Amazon and eBay after you click a link) to earn commissions from qualifying purchases. We do not sell visitor lists.

What we do not do

We do not run a first-party advertising pixel on these pages. We do not sell personal information. We do not offer a reward or incentive for clicking an affiliate link.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
