What this site is

AmpHourLab publishes computed specs, cited third-party measurements, and live street prices for portable power stations and related solar gear. It is informational. It is not professional electrical, engineering, or financial advice.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. How to read the numbers

We have hands-on access to one unit, the Pecron F5000LFP. That is the only model on which we make first-party measurement claims. Every other performance figure is a manufacturer-published spec or a measurement by a named third party, cited with a link. Comparison tables do not claim that we tested those other units.

Manufacturer specs can be wrong. Street prices move. Solar recharge hours on this site are capacity ÷ published solar input — a best-case arithmetic check, not a field measurement unless we say so for the F5000LFP.

Electrical work

String sizing tables apply published datasheet limits. Wiring solar incorrectly can destroy equipment, start a fire, or kill someone. Read the equipment manuals and use a licensed electrician where the law or common sense requires it. You are responsible for your own installation.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is.” We are not liable for decisions you make from these pages, for purchases you make on Amazon or eBay, or for damage from electrical work. To the extent a jurisdiction does not allow some exclusions, those exclusions apply only to the limit the law allows.
